We dedicate ourselves to the service of Christ in His brothers and sisters according to the needs of the Church and society under the guidance of the local Bishop. We are open to nursing, teaching, catechesis, and more. Some Sisters in a special way share in the apostolate of prayer and suffering.

Some of our Sisters work at St. Francis Medical Center and the Sisters Community Clinic in Peoria, IL. They serve the sick and the poor at the time when they are most vulnerable. The Sisters are there not just as professionals who help heal the body but as those who listen, console, encourage and give hope.

In 2008, we were asked by Bishop Jenky to help with the diocesan Office of Archives and with setting up the diocesan museum as well as the Archbishop Sheen Museum. We were surprised because from the beginning of our community we were inspired by Archbishop Sheen to offer a daily Holy Hour for priests and seminarians. We welcome this opportunity to give our charism a more concrete expression.

The diocesan phase of the cause for the beatification and canonization of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen was closed on February 3, 2008 in Peoria and on April 15, 2008 the Cause officially opened in Rome. It is a great joy and privilege for us to be involved in promoting the life and works of such a great evangelist who touched the lives of millions of people throughout the world.
