Prayer

"He must increase and I must decrease..." - John 3:30

Prayer

Prayer is the first service we offer to the Church and the world. It is the nourishment of our spiritual life and source of our apostolate.

In order to faithfully live out our charism, we pay particular honor to Christ revealed in the mystery of Divine Mercy to whom our chapels are consecrated.

In prayer we strive to listen and to answer - to listen to God to gather His inspirations, to answer by acknowledging Him, giving Him glory, honor and praise, and by offering ourselves in a spirit of total trust.

By praying together we discover better our common vocation and character.

Our association is placed under the protection of Mary, Mother of the Church. We learn from her how to discover the signs of God's Will and to recognize the inspiration of the Holy Spirit; how to be available with generosity, constancy and courage to carry out to the end any mission He chooses to entrust to us.

With special devotion, we honor:

  • Infant of Prague
  • Guardian Angels
  • Saint Joseph
  • John the Baptist

Our prayer life includes daily participation in:

  • Celebration of the Eucharist
  • Liturgy of the Hours
  • Meditation
  • Eucharistic Holy Hour, offered for priests and seminarians
  • Rosary
  • Divine Mercy Chaplet, for the dying and for souls in Purgatory
  • Spiritual Reading
  • Personal Prayer
